Twitch Auto-Clipper — Last updated: June 12, 2026
Twitch Auto-Clipper ("the App") is a personal desktop automation tool operated by
Laurenz Huck ("the Operator"). This policy explains what data the App processes.
1. Single-user tool — no third-party users
The App is used exclusively by the Operator on the Operator's own accounts. It has no
public sign-up and serves no third-party users. Therefore, the App does not collect,
store, or share personal data of any users other than the Operator.
2. Data the App processes
- OAuth tokens: After the Operator logs in to TikTok (via Login Kit)
or YouTube, access and refresh tokens are stored locally on the Operator's own machine.
They are used solely to upload the Operator's clips and to read statistics of the
Operator's own videos. Tokens are never transmitted to anyone else.
- Video files: Highlight clips rendered from the Operator's own
Twitch streams are stored locally and uploaded to the Operator's own accounts via the
platforms' official APIs.
- Public Twitch chat: The App measures the message rate of public
Twitch chat to detect highlights. Chat messages are processed in memory only and are not
stored, published, or linked to individuals.
- Video statistics: View/like counts of the Operator's own uploaded
videos are retrieved via official APIs to tune clip detection.
3. What the App does NOT do
- No collection of personal data from other TikTok, YouTube, or Twitch users.
- No tracking, advertising, profiling, or analytics services.
- No sale or sharing of any data with third parties.
4. Data storage and deletion
All data (tokens, clips, statistics) is stored on hardware controlled by the
Operator and can be deleted at any time by deleting the corresponding files. TikTok
access can be revoked at any time in the TikTok app under
Settings → Security → Apps and websites.
